Sandeep has extensive experience of over 15 years in the Indian and European capital markets. Sandeep has worked for over 10 years on the sell side in the Indian capital markets and on the buy side for 5 years in the UK. He worked for a long/short European hedge fund and has traded European and US equities, bonds, currencies and commodities. Sandeep capitalises on his buy side experience to provide advisory/ brokerage services to hedge funds and long only funds. His focus is on absolute return strategies by analysing global macro in the local context. Sandeep is a mechanical engineering graduate from MIT, Manipal and has an MBA (Fin) from Manchester Business School. Sandeep has been on the board of advisors of Etrade UK. He has provided management consultancy to Etrade UK, Lloyds Private Banking, DHL International, Essex Police and British Aerospace. His ability to view and analyse businesses at the ground level and at the macro level helps to generate investment ideas that are not only contrarian but ahead of the market.
